Men's Ministry is to help men mature spiritually by grounding them in God's Word, by providing opportunities to build relationships with other men, and by offering ways in which they may serve the Lord. In this way they can be examples of His love to their family, friends, co-workers and to the community.
To encourage and strengthen each other in the Word and the Spirit. To know Jesus and to serve Him with all our heart, soul and strength.
Acts 1:8 "and you shall be witnesses unto Me both in Jerusalem and in all Judea and in Samaria and unto the uttermost parts of the earth".
Men’s Ministry at CCSM is not to be defined as ministry TO men as much as it is to be ministry THROUGH men.
Men equipped by the Word and Spirit of God to usher revival into their own lives, into their families, into their church, and into their business or employment.
To be a Stephen (Acts 6:8-10, Acts 6-7), a Philip (Acts 8), a Paul (Acts 9), a Cornelius (Acts 10); men seeking how they might be used, to affect the lives of men that have been abused – by the world, the devil, and the flesh.
We’ve each been called to be vessels cleansed by God, vessels offered to God, and vessels filled of God the Holy Ghost. Each time we are filled, we are called to be poured out upon the lives of others (Philippians 2:17-18). The Lord wants empowered vessels fit for the Master’s use (2 Timothy 2:20-22).
Come learn how to be that man.
Even the best vessels break (Jeremiah 2:13) when they forsake God. In Men’s Ministry there should be healing (Galatians 6:1-5), complete healing, that’s our goal.
Help us achieve that.
Not just any man can lead, he must first be a man led. Men of authority must have been men under authority.
We have good men that are proven leaders that know how to be good husbands, good fathers, and good employees. Men led to have clean hands and pure hearts (Psalm 24:3-6), because they’ve watched the leadership example of other men in worship and in ministry here at CCSM.
Come be a man of substance, a real man, a man at the core of this church, a man at the nucleus of this church. It starts with the Men’s Ministry. It starts with service. It starts with devotion to The Lord Jesus. We need men that may not have it all right, but they have the character and substance to place themselves back on the potter’s wheel.
